Casey will guide us through the world of Banhez mezcal and destilados de fruta, sharing insights into traditional production methods and flavor profiles. We’ll taste a selection of Banhez mezcals, known for their signature smoky character, alongside a standout expression: Destilado de Mango. This unique spirit is crafted from 100% second bloom Ataulfo mangoes grown on the coast of Oaxaca, wild fermented for seven days in traditional wooden tinas, and distilled over an open flame using a refrescadora still.
